Mountain Ranch Property Owners Association (MRPOA) is a planned neighborhood of 74 homes that were built in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s. It is located towards the south end of Ashland, just below the Oredson-Todd Trailhead. Access to the neighborhood is from Tolman Creek Road at Green Meadows Way and from Siskiyou Blvd at Bellview Avenue. MRPOA’s 26 acres includes a large, central park and greenway trails, maintained by MRPOA. It is, indeed, a “mountain ranch,” with mountain vistas in every direction.
The adjacent 300-acre Oredson-Todd Woods features public trails for hiking, biking and dog walking, as well as a gorgeous waterfall and views of the Rogue Valley.
Bellview Elementary School is a half-mile away, and Ashland Middle School and High School are two miles away. Ashland’s Shop ‘n Kart, Bi-Mart, the YMCA, and a full shopping plaza are a little over a mile away.
