MRPOA property owners may draw from the Talent Irrigation District (TID) for their irrigation needs, for which they pay an annual fee.

The TID water availability window varies from year to year depending on water availability. The window can be as long as late-May to early October or as short as mid-June to early July. TID delivers its water to MRPOA’s pumphouse; its jurisdiction ends there. TID has no knowledge or responsibility for any of the pipes within MRPOA’s boundaries. If you are experiencing a water delivery problem on your property, DO NOT CALL TID; instead contact the MRPOA Board at [email protected].

MRPOA’s TID irrigation lines and sprinklers run from the pumphouse to each owners’ property line. MRPOA maintains these lines along with those that serve the park and the greenways. Lines that run parallel with curbs and across driveways supply water to some owners’ lots; these lines are very shallow. If an owner is considering replacing their driveway or doing other landscaping work along the front of their property, kindly notify the MRPOA Board at [email protected].

At the homeowner’s property line the jurisdiction is passed on to the individual property owner. Again, if you have you a water delivery problem on your property, contact the MRPOA and not TID. MRPOA is not responsible for maintenance or repair of any water lines within an owner’s property, but MRPOA may be able to offer advice. Below is a map of the approximate locations of some of the MRPOA pipes carrying water between owners’ lots. These pipes carry water to the one-time existing sidewalk sprinklers and then to some residents’ main TID shutoff valve, if it is in the front of their property. Not shown on this map are the lines supplying water to the greenways and the park, as well as lines to residents’ TID valves located in the back of their property.
